1. Description of Services

Parsea provides an AI-powered document data extraction platform available at parsea.io. Our services include:

Web Platform: Upload PDFs and images of documents (such as invoices, receipts, and bank statements), and our AI automatically extracts and structures the data into spreadsheets. You can organize documents into Collections, batch-process them, export results as Excel or CSV files, and share upload links with team members.

Browser Extension: A free Chrome and Edge extension ("Table Capture By Parsea") that extracts tables visible in your browser from any webpage, PDF, or image. The extension operates locally on your device and does not require an account.

2. Account Registration

To access the web platform you must create an account by providing your name, email address, and a password, or by signing in with Google. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential. You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Parsea only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

• Upload documents containing content that is illegal, harmful, or infringes third-party rights.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with our platform or its underlying AI systems.
• Resell or sublicense access to the service without our written consent.

4. Intellectual Property

Our Property: Parsea retains all ownership of the platform, including its software, algorithms, AI models, features, interfaces, trademarks, logos, and brand elements.

Your Property: You retain full ownership of all documents you upload and the data extracted from them. Reports and exports generated from your data belong to you.

License to Us: By uploading documents, you grant Parsea a limited, non-exclusive license to process your data solely for the purpose of providing the extraction service to you. We do not use your document content to train our AI models or share it with third parties.

5. Credits and Payments

Access to AI extraction on the web platform requires page credits. Credits are sold on a pay-as-you-go basis and are non-refundable once consumed. Prices are listed on our pricing page and may be updated at any time with reasonable notice. Payments are processed by a third-party payment processor; Parsea does not store your full payment card information.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Extracted data from your documents is stored in your account to allow you to view, download, and export it at any time. You may delete your documents and collections at any time from the dashboard. You may also request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us.

7. Privacy

Your use of Parsea is also governed by our Privacy Policy, available at https://parsea.io/privacy-policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

Parsea is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI extraction results will be 100% accurate. You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of extracted data before relying on it.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Parsea shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including loss of data or profits.

10. Updates to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you by email. Continued use of the service after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction in the United States.
